The clearaudio electronic company located in Erlangen was founded in 1978 by Dipl.-Ing. Peter Suchy. In the beginning, clearaudio specialized in the development and production of phase-corrected speakers, and phono cartridges with an exactly symmetric structure.

Over the years, the product portfolio has been systematically broadened, and in present times clearaudio is a secure, established vendor for the complete range of analogue audio products.
